Data Engineer/Architect
About the role
As a Data Engineer/Architect you deal with a wide range of projects, which is why it is important that you are able to navigate in different data systems and databases, and are able to take over different tools rapidly. As a consultant you’d either be a part of the in-house team, or a consultant team, but always seen as an equal member. In this role it’d be great to have the courage to speak up, as customers often expect you to bring all your knowledge and suggestions forward, and carry the responsibility when needed.
Your tasks and responsibilities will usually consist of:
- Designing, developing and rolling out data pipelines
- Creating environments to automate data workflows
- Implementing scalable data processing systems
About you
You have experience and knowledge of some of the following:
- Designing, implementing and deploying data solutions in a production environment
- Developing solutions on one of the public cloud providers
- Understanding of distributed systems, software architecture and agile development
- Knowledge of Big Data frameworks
- Experience in data modelling & design, data architecture
- Familiarity with Data warehousing, BI & reporting
- Track record of building large scale ETL processes or other integration solutions
- DevOps, DataOps or MLOps know-how
