Charity Circle - second donation

The Finnish Natural Heritage Foundation is a non-governmental organization that promotes the protection of old growth forests. The foundation has been active since its establishment in 1995 purchasing old untouched forests with donation funds and applying for a permanent protection for them according to the Nature Conservation Act.”

While Wilderness Circle takes a closer look at the outdoors in the form of hikes, fishing trips et cetera, Charity Circle decided to help keep those natural places intact.

When I first had the idea of Charity Circle, The Finnish Natural Heritage Foundation was the very first thing that came to my mind – having donated there previously from my personal purse. I felt a strong urge to agitate my workmates and fellow circle members towards the same goal, and I was happy to succeed.
