Circles Winter Party, year of 2023, wanted to embrace water in its all 3 elements, so this year’s place of shenanigans was selected to be Löyly – the place that’s co-founded by the most renowned Finnish actor – Jasper Pääkkönen.
After entering the venue, our party of consultants chugged down a drink while waiting for the private sauna to be prepared for us.
The facility itself lacked some waypoints or plaques of guidance, so we seemingly looked enough like a pack of lost puppies, because the handyman started telling us what to do and where to go.
Sauna was a private area for us, but the common room was available for all. The frost-covered terrace didn’t attract many people, and it certainly didn’t help that I had forgotten to bring my own slippers – got some cold feetsies.
The ocean was free of ice, so it lacked a bit of that “avanto” feeling. Nevertheless, it was chilly as duck.
An interesting venue, and a solid 5/6 experience.
