Thriving Together: Sports Circle Explores Exciting Activities
At Circles, we believe in fostering a supportive and inclusive work environment where our employees can grow professionally and personally. One of the ways we achieve this is through our unique circles organization, where employees with shared interests come together to engage in various activities. Sports Circle, facilitated by our dedicated consultant Jaakko, has been particularly active this year, bringing our team members together for exciting and adrenaline-pumping experiences.
Throughout the year, our sports circle has organized a range of activities, including indoor surfing, downhill skiing, escape room challenges, bouldering, and kart racing. Each month, Jaakko and the sports circle members gather to vote on which sport to try out, ensuring that everyone’s preferences are taken into account and promoting a sense of camaraderie among participants.
Our indoor surfing event was a thrilling experience that allowed team members to test their balance and agility while riding the waves. The excitement and laughter that filled the room brought our employees closer together, creating a strong sense of unity within the team.
Downhill skiing proved to be another exhilarating activity, as participants navigated the snowy slopes with determination and skill. This event provided an opportunity for team members to encourage and support one another, strengthening the bonds between colleagues.
In March, our sports circle ventured into the world of escape rooms. The team put their problem-solving skills and teamwork to the test as they worked together to unravel mysteries and overcome challenges. This engaging and immersive experience further solidified the connections among our employees while offering a fun and intellectually stimulating activity.
The bouldering session challenged participants both mentally and physically, as they scaled climbing walls and conquered new heights. This activity showcased the importance of perseverance, problem-solving, and teamwork – qualities that our employees bring to their work at Circles every day.
Our kart racing event ignited the competitive spirit within our team members, as they raced around the track, cheered each other on, and enjoyed the thrill of friendly competition.
